Lumosel uses included usage windows. Every plan gives you a set amount of Claude API usage that resets automatically — the 4-hour window every 4 hours, the weekly window on the same weekday and time each week. Exceed your window and you can add pay-as-you-go balance.

How token pricing works
Claude API pricing is per-token. Input tokens are what you send (your prompt, conversation history, system prompt). Output tokens are what Claude generates. Prices are per 1 million tokens (1M tok).

Example: a request with 20,000 input tokens and 1,000 output tokens on Claude Opus 4.8 costs approximately (20,000 / 1,000,000 × $15) + (1,000 / 1,000,000 × $75) = $0.30 + $0.075 = $0.375. This $0.375 counts against your included usage window.
Usage windows explained
4-hour window
Resets 4 hours after your first request in that window. Designed for burst work — a coding session, a research run, an agent loop. When the window resets, your usage counter returns to zero.
Weekly window
Resets on the same weekday and time each week. Designed for sustained usage — your total Claude API spend across a week. The reset lands on the same day/time no matter when you use the API.
